Yeah for those that enjoy sports-entertainment and all of it's mumbo-jumbo, feel free to post your thoughts about it in here.
I'll just start off by saying that CM Punk is probably the only person I've ever considered a role model, the guy's just amazing.
So yeah, let those thought loose.

Haha yeah I know, Shane. You also know that I'm not too big on Jeff Hardy, although I used to be in the videogames. xD Edge is awesome, by the way.

CM Punk as a role model? I wrote a blog about that, actually. For him to make it in a business as "unclean" as professional wrestling while being sXe... If he can do that, I can make it anywhere as an edger!
Oh, how I've missed this.

I dunno if you'll agree with it, as I get a bit ranty about the whole "Jesus Manson" storyline, but don't hold it against me too much. It was late and I was pissed! saiyavenger.livejournal.com/11984.html

I completely understand where you're coming from, I don't agree but I understand. Also to answer the question of how Punk can sleep at night, that's really simple. He's Straight Edge for himself and he doesn't mind if people do drugs, alcohol and tobacco which is exactly how I view it as well. Therefore I don't have a problem with the whole angle either, because it's just a character and CM Punk just does a marvelous job at performing it. I do see CM Punk as a role model for the same reason that you do by the way, I have an incredible amount of respect for Punk for that. And it give me the hope that I can do anything I want to, the way I want to as well. Your blog was a fun read by the way.

But yeah, Sir Punk is most certainly an inspiration. I think, even before his brilliance in the ring and on the mic, that's why I'm a fan of him. Gives me hope.

Yeah same here, I can't get enough of him(no homo ). Have you heard what he said about Hogan and TNA? I found it quite funny, because it's like he read my mind. xD

Yessir I did, and he was dead on. TNA was bad before Hogan's cronies came in, and it's just progressively gotten worse! When a someone who was in the MAIN EVENT FOR YOUR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP is getting jobbed out to Val fucking Venis, who isn't even in the company anymore... That's just lame.
Also, I can't think of anyone less believable as a "Nature Boy" character than AJ Styles.
WWE can be bad at times, don't get me wrong, but nowhere near as bad as TNA.

Indeed. The Nature Boy = Charisma, something AJ does not have. He's a great athlete don't get me wrong on that, but he has zero personality. And I like how Hogan came back with "I was selling out MSG when he was in diapers.", well guess who's selling it out now and who's succesful in life dumbass. Seriously Hogan just pisses me off so badly sometimes.

I'm a fan of CM Punk in general, his lifestyle is admirable and kudos to those who do the same! I respect the people that do it, the have great self-control. I on the other hand...do not. In reference to Hogan...mehhhhh. I'm more of a fan of Ric Flair, Bret Hart, and Jimmy 'Supafly' Snuka. D: God I probably misspelled that but you guys know who I'm talking about.
now back to CM Punk's current angle. I...I'm on the fence with it?

Seriously Hogan just pisses me off so badly sometimes. Same here. Hard to believe I used to like him as a kid. And I honestly believe this Monday is the beginning of the end for TNA. Vince hates competition, no matter how small. He'll go out of his way to come up with a better product. And that's sad, because before it became a graveyard for oldtimers, TNA was legitimately fun to watch.

WWE will destroy TNA, no question. If Vince has competition he just goes apeshit and brings out the best in everything, and seeing how TNA's becoming I don't see them lasting very long. I could never get into TNA's programming by the way, I liked their wrestling from time to time but they're programming made me cringe and change the channel. Also sous, I approve of the wrestlers you like(although Ric Flair's kind of a jackass).

Also sous, I approve of the wrestlers you like(although Ric Flair's kind of a jackass). Oh Flair... He's a jerk. My bud from Charlotte was in line for a Flair book signing, and he had an original NWA replica title belt like Flair's he wanted signed. All the staff told him it was fine as long as he bought a book, and he did, but when he got to Flair, he was like "What are you, retarded? I'm only signing the book." So he threw the book down, yelled out "DOUCHE!", and left.

Yeah I heard about Flair being a jerk in real life, that's probably another reason why I like Punk so much but I digress. I mean how hard can it be to just scribble your name onto something? What a way to make a deal about it....

Weird to see Saiya post in a thread with the word "pro" in it seeing how much he hates it.
